Fire Protection
The Dunklin Fire Protection District responds to several types of fires including structural, vehicles, brush, rubbish.

Fire Prevention
The Dunklin Fire Protection District will provide as many educational seminars to the citizens or business' of the District as we possibly can. Some community seminars to help with fire prevention are:
Fire Prevention Week at local schools and daycares
Fire Extinguisher Training
Inspections by the Fire Marshall's Office

Rescue
The Dunklin Fire Protection District provides the initial response to rescue's ranging from motor vehicle crashes, drowning, trench collapse, children locked in vehicles/rooms, lost persons, etc. The on-scene supervisor may sometimes request mutual-aid assistance from specialized units, such as the High Ridge Dive Team.

EMS
The Dunklin Fire Protection District responds to every medical emergency call within the District. This has proven to be a true asset to the patient and ambulance personnel, in that often times the emergency requires additional emergency personnel. The Dunklin Fire Protection District is often times on the scene providing essential life saving measures several minutes prior to the Ambulance's arrival.

Hazardous Materials
The Dunklin Fire Protection District provides the initial response to any call involving Hazardous Materials. Although our capabilities are limited at Haz-mat incidents, the District may request mutual-aid assistance from the Jefferson County Hazardous Materials Unit, who provides a rapid response with highly trained Hazardous Materials Technicians and Specialists.
