Another serious traffic crash on Hwy. Z

In the afternoon hours on 08-14-2007 Dunklin Firefighters responded to yet another serious traffic crash on Highway Z. This time, the accident occurred at the intersection of Metropolitan Blvd. resulting in two pediatric victims being air-lifted and other adult victims transported by ground ambulance.

The crash involved a passenger car and a semi-tractor trailer. A
passenger inside the passenger vehicle was trapped a short time, as firefighters used rescue tools to gain access to the passenger compartment.

Firefighters struggled with temperatures over 100 degrees, while wearing full protective gear.
