Dunklin Fire Responds to Residential 1st Alarm

(Post Date 11-22-2007)

On 11-22-2007 at 10:29 a.m. Dunklin Fire responded to the 1200 Block of Riesling Ln. for a reported First Alarm Structure Fire.

Initial Dispatch information indicated a kitchen stove was on fire with visible flames and smoke. Our first arriving ladder apparatus and interior fire crew contained the fire to the kitchen. Very minor damage was reported. No injuries were reported.

Fifteen Dunklin Firefighters and the Fire Chief responded with four pieces of apparatus, however the scene was handled with the first arriving ladder apparatus which was manned by three firefighters. The other incoming apparatus was disregarded and sent back to headquarters.
