Dunklin Firefighters rescue trapped motorist from crash.

Dunklin firefighters scrambled to the scene of a serious traffic crash on Metropolitan Blvd. North of Rt. Z in the late evening hours on 09-03-2007. Upon arrival firefighters located three patients, one of which was trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters used the jaws-of-life for approximately 15 minutes to extricate the trapped motorist from the heavily damaged vehicle. Two of the patients were airlifted in separate ARCH helicopters, and the third was transported by ground ambulance.
